Our Story
UrsaCloud was founded in 2024 to address a clear gap: India has world-class AI talent and ambition— but lacked the infrastructure to match.
With decades of experience building successful tech companies and deep expertise in data infrastructure, our founding team saw an opportunity to lead.
Today, we’re building India’s first integrated AI infrastructure platform – combining data centers, GPU cloud services, and managed AI platforms to empower businesses of all sizes to harness the power of artificial intelligence.
As a part of our mission, we have established UrsaClusters, a dedicated division responsible for building and operating our next-generation data center infrastructure.
Why the name URSA?
Like the constellation Ursa Major that has guided travelers for millennia, we aim to be the guiding force for India’s AI journey – constant, reliable, and always pointing the way forward.
